How to Find Travel DOFOLLOW Blogs

Posted on | November 23, 2010 | 3 Comments

Where in the heck can you find good blogs to comment on that will give you a back link to your site that Google will love?

That’s a question I get often, and I have started a list for you.

The following are a search engines for dofollow blogs. Use the search function to find blogs that you can comment on. Try not to search for the word travel, as this will return lots of blogs that may likely have little to with the area you serve. Try searching for your location, or common things to do at you destination; maybe this could include things like hiking, snowboarding or snorkeling. Try a lifestyle search. Pet blogs, frugal living, spiritualism are just a few examples of the many places you can find to comment on blogs that could have a good tie in with your tourism business.

If you search the words travel or vacation, be prepared to get bogged down in blogs that have commenting opportunities. Go ahead and search… for your niche at:

Do Follow Search

Do Follow Diver

Search a few big Google Blogs
(okay – this is not really a google search and I am unsure of when the database was last updated, but it gave me relevant results in a few tests)

The links below are long lists of sites (not search engines) they could be cumbersome to wade through, but you may find the right blog for your niche.

Finding dofollow blogs is not easy and the net is full of outdated, inaccurate lists. As I find more of value, I will let you know.

PlainJanes.com is a dofollow Travel blog, an SEO blog, but still one that will gain you a back link from a PR3 site. Why not comment? When commenting on my blog, you can use the option of having your name display and link with your keywords. See how friendly I am? This means a link from my commenting section could look like this:

Your Name @ Your Keywords with Link, or in real life, something like this:

Nizkocenovniki @  Live. Love. Travel.

Do you have a DoFollow blog with ties to the travel and tourism industry? Comment below and let everyone know!

It was really hard to find blogs like yours. Many thanks for letting me post my link. Forest Valley cottages in Knysna, South Africa offer luxury self catering accommodation set in the Knysna Forest. Hopefully this post will lead to more leads :) thanks again

I have always been a little hesitant to self-promote in blogs, but now that you are saying say so and nobody yet obliging…;-)

And not to sound cliched, but I found your blogs useful. Just read the one on google analytics, and used that to finally filter out my ip and content management section from getting tracked.
    Thanks!
